Agam Merapi volcano, also known as Merapi or volcano has a height of 2891.3 m from the sea surface. As one of the most active volcano in Sumatra, Merapi has erupted frequently. Starting from the late 18th century until 2008 there are approximately 454 times melatus, 50 of them on a large scale, while the rest on a small scale by removing the sulfur ash.
